Steward Machine was responsible for a complete mechanical and structural package.  This consisted of a center pivot bearing, balance wheels, internal rack gear and tracks, drive mechanism, center & end locks and the structural steel, including center pivot girder.  Steward Machine’s expert engineers also provided a custom designed grillage to facilitate the float in and alignment of the bridge, which was manufactured in-house.  To assist the customer with the final installment, Steward Machine provided mechanical installation services and assistance in the mechanical commissioning of bridge.
